Tuition, Financial Aid & Payment

Tuition

The 2022-2023 Cisco College dual credit rate is $70 per credit. A three hour course will total $210 and a four hour course will total $280. This amount does not include books and supplies. Some districts may elect to pay all or a portion of a student's tuition. Please check with your high school administration to determine what the district's policies are.

Financial Aid

Financial Aid is available to dual credit students who demonstrate “financial need”. To determine eligibility, students must complete the following:

  1. Complete and submit the online FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid)
  2. After the FAFSA has been submitted, contact the Cisco College Financial Aid Office to receive results. Please allow between 4-6 weeks to process FAFSA.
  3. Submit additional information form, if required. Students who omit this step will not receive funds even if they are eligible.

If a student has been awarded financial aid, the amount awarded will post to the student's bill automatically. Awards can be viewed through the student’s Campus Connect account.

The Texas Public Education Grant (TPEG) is the only award available to dual credit students. The grant is available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Eligible students may receive up to $450 a semester towards dual credit.

Payment

Upon registration, students are responsible for making payment arrangements with the Business Office. Students who fail to make arrangements by the posted payment deadlines will be dropped from classes and responsible for any fees or remaining balances.

Dual credit students have a variety of ways to submit payments. Options include paying online through Campus Connect, creating a Nelnet payment plan, by calling the Business Office, or in person at either the Abilene campus or Cisco campus.

To pay online through Campus Connect, select the "Pay/Review Account" under the "Student Information" tab. This selection will populate a student bill along with an option to pay online.

Cisco College has partnered with Nelnet Tuition Management System to help students and families meet educational expenses. Students may enroll in a customized Nelnet payment plan through their Campus Connect account.
